Consulting Engagement Process
Most Jentla engagements start with contracting services for a largescale web migration and continue through additional phases of work as contracted services organised as scheduled contracted services. Where the works involve outsourcing internal staffing roles to Jentla, a Retained Services relationship is very helpful to provide a continuity of services. Block Hours can be used as required for ad hoc delivery of consultancy services.
Contracted Services
Jentla contracts are managed via a Master Services Agreement defining the terms of the business relationship with each customer. Without revisiting the contracting process, new works can be quickly defined as schedules to an existing Master Services Agreement, increasing the speed of works delivery.
Retained Services
For those customers with very dynamic needs or simply a small project, a retainer or hourly/monthly fee structure can be quoted to provide numerous IT consulting services.
Our retained service plans are designed to provide on-going IT consultancy and support tailored to your specific business needs. All of the services detailed in this guide to Jentla Consulting Services are also available under a retainer relationship.
Block Hours
Using Blocks of hours reduces the hourly cost of development and project management resource hours. Block Hours can be purchased in advance of their use and drawn down as progressively required. Block Hours start with a minimum of 10 hours. Block hours are excellent for businesses without some core resources like systems administrators or in house developers for ad-hoc works but who do not have the ongoing requirements of a retained services relationship.
Examples of the use of Block Hours are the creation of a microsite, creation of a new menu structure for a new section of a website or reconfiguring the backups for a website.
